Multi-warehouse

To allow a smooth organization of stock articles, Rimses offers extended warehouse functions. You can keep an article in stock in different warehouses at the same time. When you have agreed on different prices according to the location, you can keep up these price agreements you made with your supplier for each warehouse. You can set restocking parameters for each warehouse. You can choose to restock by PO proposals, by work requests for own articles of by transfer between warehouses. Restocking is possible via EOQ (Economic Order Quantity) or via minimum and maximum stock.

Stock follow-up

You can perform a follow-up by location and by location type. According to the type of article you may need to use batch follow-up, allowing you to trace articles. To enable this, the system allows you to configure batch follow-up at reception and/or delivery of goods. For each article, the progressive average price and the lowest price are registered.

Transactions

It is important to be able to smoothly register all warehouse movements. It is only when all transactions have been registered that your stock in the system will exactly correspond to your actual physical stock.
Rimses offers user-friendly features allowing smooth deliveries, returns, warehouse transfers and stock corrections. In one single movement, you can select several articles for one transaction, thus reducing work time. Rimses also supports the integration with a accounting system by means of a cost center or a work order on each transaction and by means of Rimses Interface allowing you to link easily to your accounting system.

Inventory control

You can create stock lists to make an inventory of your stock. You can perform selections on the basis of locations, allowing you to prepare stock counts in function of these locations. To allow you to perform stock counts on different moments, you can select on uncounted stock. Rimses will mention any movement that occurred after the stock list was created.

Scanning stock items

Scanners or Rimses Mobile allow you to organize your warehouse optimally. The stock manager does not have to return to his work place every single time he has to register a delivery. If you are not working with a stock manager, you can still make sure that every delivery is scanned. A scanner or Rimses Mobile also allow for easy stock verification.
This function is available for Zetes scanners and Rimses Mobile.

Loaning material

When you loan equipment or tools, you also want to register to whom you have loaned it.
Rimses allows you to register the tool you have loaned, to whom you loaned it and for which work order or cost center. You can mention when the loaned material should be returned.

You can also ascribe the costs to the work or the cost center; The system also allows you to enter an hourly rate of loaning for the concerned tool or equipment.
When the tool is returned, the cost is calculated on the basis of the time the tool had been loaned.

To purchase spare parts or unique repairables such as engines, cranes, moulds, ... you are working with articles which are individualized. Thus, you benefit both aspects: for purchase and stock activities your spare part acts as an article, for maintenance follow-up you build up a history focused on the machine and its functional position.
